The assignment was to move the coupe in the top to learn more technique. I did that with patterned seams. I didn't want a boring change without much challenge and decided to create a dynamic pattern. I added lantern sleeves in a wool checkered fabric that holds up well. Here I had the sleeve pattern, cut it open and made a new pattern for more volume.
I matched the pants from the checked fabric with a wavy side for more fullness. I really like matching suits. It feels flowy but with a cool feel. I also like to play with social roles and gender.
